GETTING HERE

WHERE IS TECA?

The Event Complex Aberdeen, TECA, the  is located close to Aberdeen International Airport, six miles northwest of the city centre, and just a few short minutes from the city’s new western peripheral route. You can reach the venue using a range of transport options.

BY ROAD

TECA is conveniently situated for motorists, about 6 miles north-west of the city centre and easily reached from the A96 Aberdeen-Inverness road. Getting to TECA has never been easier, the southern section of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route is now open, and we are positioned just a few minutes from it. There are over 2,000 car park spaces on site at TECA.

ON FOOT

We’re only 1.5 miles (15-minute walk) from both Aberdeen International Airport and Dyce Train Station.

There is large network of over 7km of footpaths surround TECA, connecting it to nearby areas.

BY BUS

First and Stagecoach standard services will run through the event complex daily, please check their websites for the most up to date services and times.

Jet Service 727 – Aberdeen city centre to Aberdeen Airport via Great Northern Road, TECA and ABZ Business Park (Dyce). Operates every 30 minutes on Sundays. Travel from Aberdeen city centre to TECA takes around 30 minutes with this award-winning service. The buses are fitted with USB charging points and free wi-fi to make your journey as easy and convenient as possible. So you can get to the venue in comfort and style with this luxury leather seated service. Don’t worry about buying your tickets in advance, you can get them from the bus driver on the day. BY TRAIN

TECA is just 1.5 miles from Dyce Train Station which offers regular connections north and south for event visitors travelling by rail. Dyce is on the Aberdeen-Elgin-Inverness line, and is also served by some through trains from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Dyce station is unstaffed but tickets can be bought on the train.

Trains run at least once an hour Monday to Saturday, less frequently on Sundays.

The following operators run trains to and from Aberdeen station:

  • First ScotRail: Services throughout Scotland and sleeper trains to London Euston.
  • National Express East Coast: East Coast Main Line trains to Edinburgh and London King’s Cross.
  • CrossCountry: Links Aberdeen with a network stretching to Birmingham, Manchester, Brighton and Penzance. Aberdeen Train Station is in the city centre, a ten-minute train journey from Dyce by rail, and is located next door to Union Square, Aberdeen’s largest shopping & leisure destination, shop over 50 top fashion brands, 30 tasty restaurants and a 10 screen cinema complex.
