The Cannonbawz Run Is Back!

This year sees the annual return of the famous charity drive, The Cannonbawz Run! This years run will see 55 cars (from supercar, sports, classics and everything in between) hit Elgin high street on Saturday morning at 11.00am. The cars will embark on a 560 mile journey around the incredible roads of the north coast 500 with an over night stop in Ullapool, hosting a charity auction and live music before starting early on Sunday to complete the rest of the journey.

The run was dreamt up and put together by Kris O’Neill, an air ambulance paramedic based in Inverness, with his inspiration for the event being his younger brother and hero, Liam. Liam has a rare genetic disease called Marfan syndrome that effects the connective tissue around the body. He has had serious operations from a young age and his brother Kris wanted to help out the charity by way of raising money through the car event. In addition to the Marfan association, the Cannonbawz Run also help raise funds for the Scottish charity air ambulance service, an immediate life saving service that relies on charity donation to fly to give interventions to help the people of Scotland.

We recently completed a Cannonbawz Run with them, keep your eyes peeled for content from the rally coming out shortly, but in the mean time, check out the ticket link for the Aberdeen Performance Car Show below.
